Miramichi (meera- mi SHEE) nestles in 1.7 acres of woodland garden adjacent to the owners’ home on Golf Course Road, Blairgowrie. The cottage is within walking distance of the town centre and is only a few minutes from the renowned Blairgowrie Golf Club, which comprises 3 courses - Rosemount, Lansdowne and The Wee Course. There are several other excellent courses within a few miles radius and St Andrews is an easy 45-minute drive making Miramichi the perfect location for a golfing holiday. We welcome families and the local area offers a range of activities for all ages year round. Blairgowrie’s central location makes it ideal for a touring or activity holiday with walking, fishing, skiing, cycling, swimming, shooting, archery and pony trekking. There are also many historic sites to visit and for those interested in antiques, there is an abundance of small shops and larger “under one roof” centres. Blairgowrie itself offers a wealth of shops, take-aways, restaurants and supermarkets. Five minutes walk away is the popular Dalmore Restaurant and Bar. For those golfing, meals are available at the clubhouse. Miramichi is centrally heated and double-glazed and is very well equipped for the self-catering holidaymaker. All accommodation is on the ground floor. There is ample private parking beside the cottage.
Goldcrest is the owners’ home and is adjacent to Miramichi. Breakfasts are served here in the dining room. Single guests are also accommodated here in a double bedded room with sole use of a large bathroom. There is a private sitting room overlooking the garden.
